Touchskjermer for NIVATouch screens for NIVA

GDM utviklet en interaktiv plattform for Norsk institutt for vannforskning (NIVA) sitt EU-prosjekt ResponSEAble. Løsningen viser havmåledata og satellittdata.GDM developed an interactive platform for the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA) and its EU project ResponSEAble. The solution visualises ocean measurements and satellite data.

The system shows near real-time measurements from NIVA's FerryBox system in one navigable view, satellite data on ocean currents and sea temperatures on a 3D globe, a game about sustainable fishing, and video and information on a range of environmental topics.

Together with Designproduksjon, wooden stands with a built-in touch screen were made, shaped like a sail. The solution is in use on Hurtigruten's MS Trollfjord, Color Line's MS Color Fantasy, Runde Environmental Centre, the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology in Oslo, Færder National Park and NIVA's head office in Oslo, among others, and on portable units for trade fairs and conferences.

The solution is based on GDM Media Platform, GDM's software for managing content on touch screens.
